qualified customer-orientated person to provide
timeous, efficient front-line service to patients and visitors. The
position encompasses pre-admission, admission, reception, data capture
and switchboard duties, ensuring a friendly stress-free admission
process and frontline patient liaison. The job also includes the
accurate capturing of patient data
RESPONSIBILTIES AND DUTIES
* Accurately capture all relevant patient information pertaining to
patient admission ensuring 100% compliance in all admission processes
on SAP system
* Assist with pre-admission of patients as necessary
* Ensure professional and friendly when dealing with internal and
external customers
* Responsible for the marketing of the department and services
offered to admitting doctors and follow up
with non-compliance
* Assist with admission internal audits and quality reviews
pertaining to department needs
* Assist with adhoc duties as and when instructed by the line
manager thus ensuring you promote a
harmonious team effort within the department
* Maintain effective relationships with all internal and external
customers, and ensure all actions promote
customer service excellence
* Ensure processes are in line with the working procedures and
policies of Busamed
* Computer literate – must be accurate and pay attention to
details
* Proactive, organised and able to multitask and work well under
pressure
* Assist with the WCA & RAF

The incumbent will be responsible, but not limited to, ensuring the
timely and accurate processing and reporting of the company’s
financial information through the implementation of effective
processes, schedules, and the review of monthly account
reconciliations.The incumbent will be accountable for effective
strategic financial planning, including the preparation and submission
of budgets, forecasts, and comprehensive financial reports for Head
Office.Key responsibilities include managing financial systems to
ensure complete and accurate accounting records, overseeing system
implementation where required, conducting financial analyses, and
preparing detailed financial reports and statements. The role will
recommend corrective actions where necessary and provide strong
leadership in Financial Management.
The Unit Manager will be responsible for coordinating Improved Quality
Nursing Care by ensuring compliance with professional and ethical
practices. The incumbent will be accountable for coordinatingthe
Training, Development, and Mentoring of staff in the Unit. The
incumbent will also be expected to apply and manage the best and most
effective operational practices by focusing on the integrationof
people, technology, and finance drivers to ensure that Unit costs are
maintained within budget.
* Administer and supervise, thus ensuring standards for quality
nursing care are met in the unit, evaluate on an ongoing basis and
take appropriate action.
* Monitor and enforce standards, procedures and staff performance.
Manage unit activities, including irregularities and policy violations
and take corrective and follow-up action. Perform clinical instruction
as necessary.
* Control drugs as per regulations of the Pharmacy Act (Act 53 of
1974), perform checks on drug totals and drug registers and ensure
that procedures and recording are adhered to. Rationalise and control
emergency stock. Stock control
* Monitor and manage staff attendance and ensure coverage of the
unit at all times. Allocate staff based on workload and level of
competence, ensuring optimal staff usage and maintaining the stability
of the nurse/patient ratio.
* Promote and maintain good working and interpersonal relationships
with management, patients, staff, doctors and colleagues. Coordinate
the activities of all hospital departments to provide uniformity of
direction.
* Demonstrate professional ethics and leadership qualities. Maintain
standards and conduct to the South African Nursing Act and SANC
Regulations
* Conduct frequent ward rounds and provide top-quality,
customer-centric service

The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost-effective, safe
quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards
andpolicies. As a Professional Practitioner, the incumbent is also
responsible for and is held accountable for his/her acts and
omissions. The incumbent will further be responsible for direct and
indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for
assessing, planning, executing, and supervising the implementation of
care to meet patient needs. Is a role model in the delivery of
evidence-based care and will actively participate in clinical
governance, auditing of health records toensure compliance, ensuring
all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited
appropriately, effective risk preventionand management, managing
acuity and skill mix to ensure appropriate level of care.
The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing
care of a patient or group of patients and functions under the direct
and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse in accordance with
hospital standards and policies. As a Professional Practitioner, the
incumbent also is responsible for and is held accountable for his/her
acts andomissions. Nursing activities form part of a nursing regime
that is planned and initiated by the Registered Nurse. The Enrolled
Nurse will be responsible for the assessment and care of the needs of
patients and will be responsible for the development, implementation,
and evaluation of appropriate programmes of care, ensuring the
delivery of high-quality care to patients/reporting potential/ actual
risks identified, ensure all stock is well controlled and managed.
