The Administrative Functions Coordinator manages all the catering
services of the clinic/hospital to the satisfaction of patients and
staff. The A.F.C. must have a background in business administration
and food service systems. Specific areas of business administration
that are essential include: -organization, financial and internal
controls, cost accounting, budgeting, production management,
economics, labour relations, personal administration, marketing and
legal responsibilities. With regard to food service system, the A.F.C.
should have an in depth knowledge of food and nutrition science,
social cultural aspects of food, and volume food production.
A chef is mainly responsible for the preparation of meals in the
respective hospital for patients and staff. The job of a chef will
entail preparing, seasoning, and decorating meals and dishes in ways
that suit the requirements or orders that are placed by customers. The
chef also monitors and/or supervises the preparation and
administration of meals from the kitchen by other staff members.
He/she should specializes in the preparation of specific meals like
salads, desserts, and pastries. The chef will be responsible for
creating the menu; he/she will also makes adjustments to the menu
based on the availability of food or the current season.
The Ward Host/ess is responsible for ordering and serving of meals and
beverages to patients and visitors where necessary. The Ward Host/ess
is responsible for the hygiene and cleanliness in his/her Ward
kitchen, ordering of Issues and stock take of cutlery and crockery on
a daily basis.

We are looking for a muslim store person candidate as they will be
able to align with the halaal requirements. The store person will be
entrusted with maintaining great service whilst adhering to Halaal
catering laws. The responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks,
from sourcing ingredients to preparing and serving food. Food
handlers, including chefs, kitchen staff, and food service workers,
are integral to ensuring that halal dietary standards are met.
The Theatre Store Clerk will be responsible for the daily stock
control in the theatre and catheterisation lab. This includes control
over consignment, aged, short dated, excess and obsolete stock. The
incumbent will also be responsible for monthly cyclical counts,
receiving, unpacking, binning and bar coding of theatre stock. The
Theatre Store Clerk will data capture theatre charge sheets and
consignment stock daily.
The Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary is responsible for direct and/or indirect
nursing care of a patient or group of patients and functions under the
direct and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse in
accordance with hospital standards and policies. As a Professional
Practitioner, the incumbent also is responsible for and is held
accountable for his/her own acts and omissions. The Enrolled Nurse
Auxiliary will be responsible for assessing and caring for patients'
needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating appropriate
programmes of care.It will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to
patients, report potential/actual risks identified, and ensure all
stock is well controlled and managed.

recording activities
