The incumbent will be responsible for the management of risks related to hospital infrastructure and assets related to all plants and equipment. This includes but is not limited to: * To establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel * Analyse, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled project and maintenance * Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring efficient and quality service delivery * Hold regular team meetings to determine progress and address any challenges * Research and evaluate hardware and software options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis before procuring services and products on behalf of the business * Ensure proper maintenance and installation takes place * Comply with all regulatory requirements and implement systems to ensure compliance * To oversee the technical team, manage, improve and optimize the technical operations within the facility * Drive and monitor conformance to SLA, identify gaps and implement corrective action * Identify, together with Group Procurement, applicable services and service providers * Effective quality systems management * Lead and empower the technical team with a hands-on approach * Be willing to perform standby duties and respond to call outs * Must have own reliable transport
