The incumbent will be responsible for the handling, collection, washing and distribution of linen across
the hospital.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Collection of linen from the wards/department and taken to laundry at intervals throughout the day to ensure the ward have sufficient linen.
- Sorting of linen per ward must be executed timeously and recorded
- Washing and drying of linen
- Clean linen is to be made available for/delivered to the wards at regular intervals.
- Laundry assistants are to perform all tasks assigned to them by the supervisor.
