Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital is looking for a suitably qualified, customer-focussed Pre-Admission Clerk to provide administration services whilst delivering uncompromising quality to all our external and internal customers. The position encompasses pre-admission duties, marketing the department to internal and external customers, data capture, gap analysis reporting and ensuring a friendly stress-free pre-admission process.

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have worked on SAP
  • Computer literate – must be accurate and pay attention to detail

  • Working experience in the private healthcare funding industry is essential
  • + 2-5 years of working experience in a hospital environment
  • Knowledge of medical aid admitting protocol is essential

  • Fluent communication in English is essential
  • At least 2 years of experience within a hospital environment
  • Previous experience in obtaining authorisations will be advantageous
  • Organised, flexible, able to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Participative and able to work as part of the team
  • Customer-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
