The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Accountant and Financial Manager in performing general accounting functions.

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
  • Accounting degree (Bcom) (Advantageous)

  • Previous Accounting experience advantageous

  • Advanced computer skill (Excel and Word)
  • Any accounting system experience - SAP experience advantageous
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Monthly of reconcilaition and finalization of trial balance for selected general ledgers
  • Preparation of supplier reconciliations and payments for Hospital Creditors
  • Petty cash control and processing on SAP (Cash-book – FBCJ)
  • Raising of monthly accruals and provisions
  • Preparation of costing reports
  • Preparation of weekly agency reports
  • Data capturing for subsidiary company
  • Assistance with the year end budget process and and external audit
  • Capturing of fixed assets and maintenance of the fixed asset register
  • Adhoc duties
