Busamed Modderfontein Private Hospital is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and driven individual for the HR Administrator position. The Human Resources Administrator is required to perform a full generalist human resources function. This includes recruitment and selection, training, counselling, processing/submission of payroll inputs and supervision of administration processes. The incumbent is further required to meet tight deadlines, to be accurate, follow policies and procedures and interact with staff, management, external companies/agencies associated with Busamed Modderfontein Private Hospital as well as members of the public. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • All Human Resources administration and related duties to ensure compliance
  • Personnel administration (updating and maintaining proper filing system)
  • Benefits administration
  • Collation of payroll inputs (new engagements, movements, deductions, terminations, etc)
  • Assist managers and staff with HR related queries
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • On Boarding and Orientation
  • Human Resources Audits and Reporting
  • Dealing with queries promptly and effectively
  • Staff events and wellness planning
  • Effective handling of allocated projects and other related HR duties

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4
  • Human Resources Management qualification or related studies
  • Computer literacy is essential, including Microsoft Office

  • Minimum of 2 years Human Resources Generalist experience

  • Must be accurate and pay attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and experience of SAP would be an advantage
  • Good organizational and administration skills
  • Proactive, organised, and able to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Participative and able to work as part of a team
  • Professional in appearance
  • Flexibility of duty time to suit department needs
  • Active involvement in own professional development to maintain a satisfactory level of skill and knowledge
  • Keep up to date with evolving policies and procedures and abide by them at all times
