Administration

The incumbent is to ensure effective administration systems, communication mechanisms and procedures are in place to support the work of the practice and to ensure the delivery of a high quality. Administration service provided on a daily basis to patients, doctors and staff. Promote and manintain a patient-centric approach within the department and business.

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification and above

  • Previous work experience in a hospitality environment is essential preferably in a four/five star establishment
  • Three or more years of experience in hospitality

  • Advanced Computer Literacy
  • SAP knowledge will be an advantage
  • Management and control the switchboard, main reception area, trauma reception, concierge & pre admissions
  • To ensure that all patients are admitted timeously and accurately with 100% compliance
  • To ensure Patient Satisfaction Surveys for reception are above 98% compliant
  • To effectively manage the Fast Tracking Process of Pre-Admitted Patients with 100% compliance rate
  • To assist the reception staff when busy with admissions and attend to patient admissions queries
  • Ensure all Casualty admissions are captured correctly and the files are forwared to the billings department
  • Enusre all Private patients deposits and Medical Aid patients Co-Payments are collected on admission
  • Focus on Training & development of the reception staff and porters when required
  • To assist with doctor and patient complaints at the reception with regard to admissions area
  • Auditing of admission documents on a daily basis to ensure document compliance as per company policy
  • Responsible for reception staff and porter work scheduling on Kronos and the final approval is by Admin Manager
  • Ensuring Census listings are sent out daily to all wards and bed bookings theatre slates are checked on a daily basis
  • Any adhoc duties as and when required by Admin Manager and Hospital Manager
