A Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording all deliveries of food items, cleaning materials, and consumables, ensuring that quantities and quality meet required standards. They maintain accurate stock records, store goods in the correct conditions will be responsible for supporting the overall operations by taking customer orders, preparing basic drinks, all while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.

  • Certificate in Hospitality will be advantageous
  • Grade 12

  • +- 2 years working in the hospitality environment
  • Working experience in private healthcare will be advantageous

  • To wash, clean, and sweep refrigerator, freezer, vegetable area, and dry store daily.
  • Inform when items are out of stock. Make arrangements with the help of CM and admin.
  • Ensure invoices are given to admin and double-check delivery invoices.
  • Responsible for packing away “goods received” in the appropriate areas.
  • Responsible for the general tidiness of the store area and keeping it clean.
  • Issue sheets, take food samples daily, keep files up to date, and ensure paperwork is filled out daily.
  • Complete temperature control records.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes of supplies.
  • Weigh stock given to shifts and make sure all items are marked, labeled, and dated.
  • Ensure stock levels are correct and nothing runs out.
  • Order supplies as needed and on time.
  • Remove spoiled items from fridges.
  • Ensure all items in stores, fridges, and freezers are marked, dated, and labeled.
  • Pack all items neatly and in the correct area at all times.
  • Ensure stock rotation of items.
