Busamed Modderfontein Empower Her™ is looking for a dynamic Product Manager to lead the development and expansion of our one-stop women’s health wellness shop. Incumbent must have experience in healthcare startups, a passion for innovation, and a strong understanding of value-based care and willing to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with crossfunctional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. 

Key Work Outputs and Responsibilities: 

  • Conceptualization & Development: Lead the execution of the one-stop women’s health shop, starting with the pioneer site and expansion as per set timelines
  • Process Codification: Develop and document scalable operational processes that ensure efficiency and seamless multidisciplinary care delivery
  • Marketing & Growth: Manage digital marketing strategies for the brand (SEO, social media, CRM Platforms) and support local general marketing efforts to drive growth and awareness
  • Relationship Building: support the marketing team to develop relationships with referring practices, actively supporting marketing initiatives and strengthening partnerships
  • Data-Driven Reporting & Analytics: Deliver detailed performance reports (closed inquiries, bookings, revenue, client satisfaction) and ensure data-driven decision-making
  • Team Oversight: Manage the reception and call center team, led by an administrator or team leader, to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Expansion Leadership: Use data insights to oversee the diversification and roll-out of the product range and expansion to new sites
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the smooth operation and continuous growth of Empower Her

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management or related field. Graduate with private sector experience in healthcare startups
  • AI Literacy, basic skills in manipulating APIs (e.g., WhatsApp, CRMs) and the ability to learn quickly. Data analytic skills are highly advantageous
  • Marketing Skills, experience in working with digital marketing platforms (SEO, social media, CRM tools) alongside general marketing capabilities

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or related roles
  • Previous role as a Product Manager advantageous

  • Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and oversee operational processes
  • Analytical Skills: Competency with analytics platforms like Excel, Google Analytics, and healthcare CRMs
  • Value-Based Healthcare: Up-to-date knowledge of trends and developments in women’s health, with a design-oriented mindset for delivering value-based care
  • Relationship Building: Ability to engage with referring practices and support local marketing efforts through partnership management
