Monate Catering

We are looking for a muslim store person candidate as they will be able to align with the halaal requirements. The store person will be entrusted with maintaining great service whilst adhering to Halaal catering laws. The responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, from sourcing ingredients to preparing and serving food. Food handlers, including chefs, kitchen staff, and food service workers, are integral to ensuring that halal dietary standards are met. 

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualifications
• Relevant Halaal Certifications
• Certifications in inventory management will be an advantage 

• Previous work experience in a hospital environment is essential
• Two or more years of experience in a halaal kitchen (preferably in a hospital setting)

• Ensures that the right quantities of items are always available.
• Managing the receipt and dispatch of goods is essential. This includes: receiving deliveries, inspecting delivered items for damage, preparing items for shipment and coordinating with delivery services
• Adhering to safety protocols is critical
• Ingrediant sourcing and verification
• Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
• Preventing cross-contamination
• Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
• Updating inventory management systems regularly
