The incumbent’s main responsibilities will include among others: installing, configuring, maintaining and
troubleshooting of user workstations on company LAN; formatting and reloading of user machines, ensuring all user data is backed up and secured before formatting; ensuring correct software is loaded onto the user’s machines before use; desktop support via telephone or services desk initiated requests; company server infrastructure monitoring and proper escalation of alerts; exchange and active directory administration, including corporate applications support, troubleshooting and issue escalation and follow-up on all unresolved calls, with constant feedback. The successful candidate will also need to participate in the call-out roster, respond to call outs where necessary, and able to function unsupervised. 

  • Grade 12 or qualification equivalent to NQF level 4
  • A+ and N+ or relevant Microsoft qualification

  • 2 or more years of experience in IT Support Technician in a private company
  • Healthcare experience would be advantageous

  • Computer Literacy essential
  • Ability to diagnose and fix Hardware/ Software problems
  • Ability to install, configure and replace computer components
  • SAP knowledge would be an added advantage
