Surgical Ward

The Ward administrator is responsible for General admin functions and all stock control duties at the ward/unit level. The incumbent is the link between the Pharmacy and the ward/Unit with a dual reporting line to the Pharmacy and the Unit Manager. The incumbent will communicate with both the Pharmacy Manager and Unit Manager, ensuring that both parties are well-informed and in agreement on all aspects pertaining to the role.

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification.
• Post Matric or Tertiary Qualification is essential.

• 1-2 years working experience as a Ward Administrator
• Customer service oriented with high working standards.
• Stock Management working experience is advantageous.
• Private Healthcare or Hospitality industry working experience is advantageous.
• Hospital SAP working experience is advantageous.

• Fluent communication in English is essential
• Computer Literacy essential
• Knowledge of billing processes and procedures is advantageous
