Maintenance

Is to assist in carrying out all preventative, planned and reactive maintenance requirements and contribute to a comprehensive and effective facilities management structure thus ensuring optimum consistency and compliance of all essential equipment with minimum disruption to key areas of the hospital. To carry out all administered checklists to the best of your ability and ensure that all the main components of the equipment are working as per manufacturer design specifications. To efficiently report all findings and ensure that immediate remedial measures are taken to minimise any downtime of the equipment. To ensure that all policies and procedures of the hospital facility which impacts directly or indirectly to the role of maintenance assistant are fully understood.

To ensure that all aspects of the health and safety program required of the hospital facility is carried out with accuracy and accountability. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Ensure key outputs job cards are completed, and jobs are carried out as per instruction
• Equipment Control
• Creating job cards and Purchase orders timeously on SAP System
• Identify and control risk in the technical environment
• To build and maintain stakeholder relations and client services within the Technical Department
• Maintain effective relationships with all internal and external customers, and ensure all actions promote customer service excellence
• Ensure processes are in line with the working procedures and policies of Busamed
• General Administration

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 2 years work experience in a hospital environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of database management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Computer literate – must be accurate and pay attention to details
• Proactive, organised and able to multitask and work well under pressure
• Participative and able to work as part of the team & Professional in appearance
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills
