Reporting to the Hospital Manager, the Finance and Admin Manager will be responsible for supporting the operational financial plannin and analysis needs of the hospital, including overseeing case management. 

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
  • A relevant 3 year B-com Accounting Degree

  • Minimum of five (5) years financial and administration experience
  • Previous experienve in development of monthly/daily financial reports
  • Experience in a Private Hospital environment would be advantageous 

  • Intermediate-Advanced excel skills 
  • Ensure that finance team maintains fincancial record systems in accordance with international Financial Reporting Standards 
  • Responsible for preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials to the company's Management 
  • Prepare and communicate monthly and annual financial statements for the company
  • Oversee budgeting, and the implementation of budgets, so as to monitor progress and present operational KPIs
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and cost centre accounting
  • Coordinate all audit activities 
  • Calculate and complete returns; VAT, Income Tax
  • Be responsible for ensuring the intergrity of SAP and that the system is running optimally 
  • Review & approve payroll 
  • Review and report on revenue process controls and effectiveness of cash collections 
  • Assess and implement internal controls across all cycles 
  • Manage the general procurement of the hospital 
  • Oversee the case management function 
  • Oversee and streamline the Revenue Billing Cycle 
  • Responsible for all Month End Admin Reporting 
  • Ensure DNFB report is maintained in accordance with Group targets 
  • Oversee the Case Management 
  • Responsible for the Credit Controller functions at the hospital which include supervision of the Private & Foreign Ledgers and handing over delinquent acccounts to Debt Collectors in conjunction with Head Office Credit Control 
  • Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
